I, Mit Sinai, from Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, was treated by Dr.Kartik Shah in 2013 at the age of 16. I wasn't able to, at times, excrete due to the stricture in urethra. Dr.Kartik recommended a surgery to get rid of the stricture and my treatment was successful, however I was worried from day 1. I must say, after my successful treatment I realise Dr.Kartik is one of the most calm and patient Doctor I have ever been treated by. He always kept his nerves calm and handled all my tantrums without feeling annoyed or irritated. He was always there to hear me out and understood my problems, be it at 8 in the morning or 12 at night. Dr.Kartik was more like a family member than a Doctor during my treatment and therefore I highly recommend him and thank him for his due care and assistance.
We were first introduced to Dr. Karkit J Shah who was then working at Shalby Hospitals in 2014. He was the Urosurgeon & Renal transplant Surgeon among other Surgeons who operated on my daughter Lynette Wairimu Gakuru for kidney transplant. Since then, we have been in constant consultation whenever need arises.
My daughter had experienced regular UTI's which doctors back home had prescribed corrective surgery on her ureter/bladder. When we came back to him in India, in early 2017, several tests and investigations were performed by Dr. Kartik where surgery was ruled out. Since then, my daughter has not experienced any more infections.
